Moments with Bella...

Andy and I have a habit of talking to Bella as if she is a 20 year old person. Since we are..let's say less than savvy at the whole raising small beings into becoming people thing, I guess it would make since that we aren't the typical parents. Thus brings us to tonight's quick moment with Bella.

Me: Boo, I sure do love you.
Bella: I love you too Momma last night. (Again, the whole adding last night to random phrases still exists.)
Me: You know you are going to be a world changer Bella?
Bella: Uh-huh.
Me: Bella, do you know that you will be a world changer because Jesus loves you very much?
Bella: Uh-huh Mommy, and I want some chee-sus too on a turkey sanwich wit some bread.
Me: Bella, I said Jesus, not chee-sus.
Bella: Uh-huh Mommy, and I want some chee-sus on some bread wit some turkey in it.
As I stare at my daughter holding a very serious look on her face (and she does not joke when it comes to food) I decide to go get her left-over turkey and cheese sandwich from Subway out of the fridge and see what she comes up with.
As she takes her first bite and realizes that I gave her just what she asked for...
Bella: Oh Momma, I just lova me some Chee-sus...
She pauses trying hard to make me proud of her picking up at least part of what I was trying to teach her.
Bella: J...J... Jesus (another bite)...wit some turkey and bread.
Me: You are welcome baby.
Bella: Tank-you Mommy for my...Jesus...and I need some chips too.

I loved it. That's my girl.

Too funny Emily...sounds like your baby girl knows exactly what she wants. I would love to spend an afternoon with her. She has SO much personality! We will have to get some play dates together for the summer!
